Qualifying Round Winners
The following submissions won the Qualifying Round in the Extreme Wrap Challenge Contest. Each sign shop's installer will compete for great prizes on September 23 in Toronto!
Project: Celebrity Chef Mark McEwan's Restaurant Fetta. Pearson Airport Terminal 1
Sign Shop: Evil Kitty Graphics
Why It's Extreme: Many things made this project extreme. The site had compound curves that the designers hadn't taken into account, requiring modification on site. The installer kept the geometric pattern straight and level, while tethered three stories high at all times during installation. Graphic is visible from all sides including the top and floor requiring accurate installation with design in a high security area.
In review of the submissions, the judges were impressed by the quality of work across Canada as well as the extreme examples of 3M graphics in use. The results were very close! The judges would like to recognize the following sign shops for their exceptional submissions:
